Eminem's biography




Marshall Bruce Mathers III, better known by the name of Eminem, was born in Kansas City. Raised alone by his mother, he grew up in Detroit, bathing in the world of hip-hop. At 12, the young Eminem writes his own songs and was noticed by producers in the area.

Eminem began his career with several rap groups. Without success. He recorded a solo album in 1996, "Infinite" and tried his luck a year later the Rap Olympics in Los Angeles. Thanks to his demo album, he won second place.

In 1998, "Slim Shady EP" was released in stores and it is with "The Slim Shady LP" which he makes himself known to the general public. The world discovered the haunting chorus of "My Name Is," starring the rapper.

After scoring his bearings in the world of music, the rapper launched into the cinema. He plays the main character of the film "8 Mile", inspired by his difficult childhood. He signed the soundtrack, which contains the track "Lose Yourself."
